SASMin

Centre for Sustainable Artisanal and Small-Scale Mining (SASMin) is an interdisciplinary unit for research and consultancy work pertaining to sustainable artisanal and small-scale mining in developing countries. Staff members are from the Department of Geosciences and Natural Resource Management, University of Copenhagen and the Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland (GEUS).

Present activities include projects on agrominerals, gold (value chains and reduction of mercury use), aggregates, and salt.
